Hello Anon!

I appreciate your curiosity about my DC art, but I won’t make a side blog to repost it again. Like I said,some of the safe for work pieces can be found on my deviantart and I also did a lot of work for the askdickanddamian blog. 

I don’t want to sound harsh, but I deleted those pictures from my blog for a reason. I have great memories with the DC fandom, but also somber ones. I just wanted to clean up the blog. There’s always going to be DC fanart mixed in with my work, but it’s gotten less.

I tried out Loish’s way of painting today on a quick paint sketch and it was fun, so many colors! I really dislike it when people’s features are described as food-colored, so I wasn’t all that ecstatic when Rick Riordan described Hazel’s hair as cinnamon colored. I like to imagine that it’s a coppery-golden highlight in her hair.

Ah, Anon, you just have to wait a bit longer! I have been pondering the bookmark sketch the last days and am not 100% happy with it so I might rework parts of it. That takes some times and in the meantime I might get sidetracked with other stuff, haha.

burdge: felt like fleshing out Annabeth and Nico in a quick (messy) growth study. side note: i’ve always drawn Nico with bags under his eyes because he’s italian- they only get more pronounced, because… well, because the poor guy’s been through hell. This! This is exactly how I pictured both of them while reading the books.

Sorry, I'll go back to my corner now.

Ah, thank you for pointing it out! I think my mind just ran off with the idea of them being twins because they are described as being very close knitted in the books. I’ll keep this in mind for the fleshing out of the sketch!
